Examinations

First Semester :-

The duration of B.Ed course is of one year having a Two Semesters.
During First Semester two Internal Examinations are being conducted.
1st Test in 8th week of 1 hr. duration
2nd Test in 12th week for 3 hrs. duration. &
First Semester University Theory Examination shall be conducted during the month of April/May.

Second Semester :-

During Second Semester also two Internal Examinations are being conducted.
1st Test in 8th week of 1 hr. duration
2nd Test in 12th week for 3 hrs. duration. &
Second Semester University Theory Examination shall be conducted during the month of November/December.
Classification of Successful Candidates in the Final University Examination.
1. A candidate shall be declare to have passed the examination if he/she secures:
A minimum of 40% in external Evaluation in each of the theory papers and in each of the practical’s separately, and a minimum of 40% in aggregate both internal assessment/viva voce & theory/ practical exam in each paper and a minimum of 50% aggregate in each semester. A candidate who passes individually with 40% score but fails to secure 50% in aggregate shall be declared to have failed. Such a candidates shall, at his option, appear for any one or all papers for improvement.
2. For the purpose of declaring ranks & classes, the aggregate of the marks in both semesters shall be taken into account. However, ranks/ Classes shall be awarded in case the candidate passes the each of the subjects/examinations in one attempt.
3. Successful candidates shall be classified based on aggregate of all the semesters as follows.
a) First class with Distinction : 70% and above
b) First Class : 60% and above, but less than 70%
c) Second Class : 50% and above, but less than 60%
